Did you know pigmentation can affect how old we look? Even more so than wrinkles! Photorejuvenation is one of our most popular anti-aging skin treatments. This procedure uses Intense Pulse Light (IPL) to treat numerous skin conditions such as age spots, freckles, sun spots, and redness caused by rosacea or broken capillaries.

Everyone’s skin is different. The number of treatments we recommend will depend on the condition we’re treating and the severity. However, most often we’re able to achieve optimal results with just one treatment.
There may be some mild discomfort during the treatment. Most clients describe the feeling as a slight sting or ‘snap’. There is usually less discomfort with subsequent treatments as your skin becomes clearer.
We do our best ensure you’re as comfortable as possible and many clients tolerate photorejuvenation with no problem.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a permanent cure for this hormonal condition, which is often triggered by birth control, pregnancy, and even heat.
Here at Glo, we don’t treat Melasma with any of our lasers. The reason? We’d be treating a light and heat sensitive condition with light and heat. Although the initial results of a laser treatment on Melasma are great, the pigment will often reappear weeks or months later, sometimes worse than when you first began. Instead, we recommend chemical peels.
Please avoid using self-tanners or tanning for 2-4 weeks prior to your treatment. If you will be exposed to the sun, wear sun protection. If your skin is too tanned, we may have to reschedule your appointment
Avoid using any exfoliants, Retinols, Vitamin A, Tazorac, Glycolics for 5-7 days before to your treatment.
