Technically yes, but we recommend waiting at least a day before wearing makeup. Your skin will be glowing when you leave and we want to give it time to soak up all those great skincare products we used.
If you’re planning a micro before a big event, it’s best to schedule it at least two days in advance.
None! Get up and glo! That’s the best part of a micro. You may have some redness immediately following your treatment, but this will dissipate within a couple of hours.
Here at Glo, we don’t recommend Microdermabrasion to treat acne.
The reason: we don’t want to spread the acne-causing bacteria that is present in active breakouts. To treat acne, we’ll often recommend a series of Chemical Peels, Blue Light Laser Treatments, or Extraction Facials.
We’ll also take a look at what may be causing your acne, taking into account any food allergies and the current skincare products you’re using. If you suffer from acne, book a Complimentary Consultation for a thorough skin analysis.
