Venus Viva™ uses tiny pins to safely deliver heat (via NanoFractional Radio Frequency) through the skin’s surface. This creates micro-dermal wounds, which the body then heals. This process repairs signs of skin damage while stimulating collagen production. Since the wounds are so small, the treatment is much more comfortable than traditional CO2 lasers, while still producing incredibly visible results.
Laser Resurfacing improves skin elasticity and promotes collagen production. The treatments are cumulative and we typically recommend a series of three treatments for best results. You’ll begin to notice some results after your first treatment and results will continue to improve for 2-3 months following your last treatment.

Compared to traditional CO2 Lasers, Venus Viva™ treatments deliver excellent results with significantly less pain and downtime. Also, unlike lasers, which only work for fair complexions, Venus Viva™ is safe for all skin tones.
There may be some mild discomfort during the treatment, but it won’t be painful. You’ll feel heat, similar to the feeling of a sunburn.
We do our best throughout the treatment to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible and apply a topical numbing cream to reduce any discomfort.
The best part of a Venus Viva™ treatment is the minimal downtime – 2-4 days depending on the type of settings used during the procedure (downtime for lasers can last 10 days or more).
Your skin will be red and sensitive for the first 24 hours and you may experience light to moderate flaking for 2-4 days.
We recommend refraining from hot tubs, saunas, rigorous exercise, and applying makeup and/or certain skin care products for the first 24-48 hours. Post Treatment Care will be discussed at the time of your appointment.
